Depth Perception, 2010

C-type photographic prints, dimensions variable.

In the series of photographs entitled Depth Perception (2010), the near-perfect geometry of a Victorian sewer tunnel is transformed into a seemingly celestial form, by bouncing light off its walls.

It forms part of Beer’s series of architectural photographs drawn from his Resonance Project, in which he works with the geometry and the acoustics of architectural spaces
